Hi, my name is Rendi Chevi!

I'm a PhD Student at MBZUAI, advised by Tatsuki Kuribayashi, where I'm working at the intersection of natural language processing, psycholinguistics, and social computing.

Research Interests My current research focuses on how to leverage modern computational models, especially LLMs, to help us study facets of people's cognition and behavior that were previously harder to probe by traditional elicitation methods.

I also love doing data visualization! I enjoy figuring out the visual elements that best narrate the stories behind our studies in a way that's meaningful and compelling for not only the subject-matter experts, but also the general readers.

Before Joining PhD I was a Research Associate (2023-2025) at Alham Fikri Aji's Lab, and a Research Scientist (2021-2023) at an Indonesian chatbot company, Kata.ai.
